Is it possible to connect a maxtor usb hard drive to a Linksys WRT54G wireless router and use it on a network?
I have a Maxtor One Touch external hard drive that I presently have connected via a USB cable. I'm sharing it across my network via another computer, but since the computers connected wirelessly, it looses its connection causing problem when accessing the hard drive from another computer on the network. What I'm wondering is there anyway to make the hard drive a network drive using my existing WRT54G wireless router. I know there are hard drives/routers which have this capability built in, but I'm curious if it can be done without me purchasing anything else other than a few adapaters or the likes
