Hot Swap Tray

When the use and operation of a high availability server or system in an organization must be aware that there are May times when equipment fails and the system can be disconnected. This is part of the course when it comes to computers. No system 100% safe because there are many things that can go wrong. A significant issues that departments face is the loss of data if a disk. A how to overcome this problem is to use a RAID and use SCSI hot-swappable.

Using RAID allows data spread over several hard disks of the server. This process involves several levels of complexity and redundancy and allows you to retrieve information from a disk defective using the parity information in writing on different disks. Just as a sum in algebra, where 1 + a = 3 (2 =), RAID allows the data is recreated when you replace the failed drive. The server works but the sums have to work on their own, making it slightly slower.

In the past, was a requirement that the server hardware has been out to change the hard drive, but hard drives and hot swap caddies are allowed the server to continue operating while data is retrieved. The SCSI Hot swap allow you to remove the failed drive and insert a new one without having to turn some server. This allows the server to continue operating while the new disc is restored or repaired, and are part of the RAID array.

Each of the major manufacturers of server hardware has a slightly different application of technology replacement hot. The SCSI hard drive sits in a cart or tray that is specific to each registered server. The SCSI disk drive itself is sometimes independent of the mark server and, therefore, any SCSI disk similar size can be used.

So, to take proper functioning of the server, the consistency data redundancy and customer satisfaction, using a RAID disk drive Hot interchangeable.

I fried my hard drive I can replace the card and back?

I plugged my tray and 320 GB IDE hot swap my PC died, when I I felt the burn unit circuit. I want to know if I can get an identical unit, can I share tips and retrieve data?

Depends on what you really burning, if the HD channels then burned any sound is possible only if you pay someone a lot to change discs. "This is a view of a mechanical person, not a computer expert" Its an accurate statement, but computer specialists know that this is impossible without a clean room, microscopic particles in the air that land on the paved surface and potentially contaminating the drive to destroy more. Do not try to change trays! You just look for another team (FIRST !!!!!!) Turn It Off switch and see if it works. A simple alternative electronics is a new idea, however, I have serious doubts about the ease with which this could be done. Chances many more connections are not modular (can not connect and play so to speak) and therefore can not be reproduced by a truss. Of course, as a handyman in the soul, if the unit does not work and you have nothing to lose, go ahead and participate, if you can remove the card circuit without damage, then go buy another identical unit and try it! best of luck.
