Mhz Ethernet Cable
My Netgear Wirelesss Card sometims fails and disconnects. Why?
Okay, 3 laptops. 1 is wired, ethernet cable. Windows 2000
#2 wireless, Windows Vista Home Premium. Internal wireless card.
#3 is the problem. It is always disconnecting from the wireless network.
The specifications are:
Windows Xp Home Service Pack 2
851 MHz
256 RAM
10 gb hard drive.
1.42 bg free. 9.36 used.
Here are the specifications onn the whole network. Can someone please figure out why #3 always disconnects after 1 hour of use?

Nothing is wrong with #3's configuration as posted.
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:
+ Try moving the laptop to a spot with better reception.
+ Try installing the latest drivers for your Netgear card.
+ Use the Netgear card in another laptop, to see whether it is the card or the laptop that is faulty.
+ Try getting the network working without security first, then enable security (WEP / WPA) to see if that is a factor.
