Does the government really need a national broadband network to facilitate easier?
and faster communication with and between its different agencies?

Sugar Dad...then we have to put a hyphen in the word COMMISSION-ERs for emphasis, right?
yes, they do but in my opinion, they don't need to setup a new network since there's already one, it just needs enhancement. and i think, we don't need to ask for foreign companies to set it up for us since we already have our own means of communication, we can use our local providers such as pldt, etc. this way, the people who will provide the network is already familiar with the territories and what our government might need. besides, we have lots of good people at the IT industry and we can have people for the maintenance. it also means additional work opportunities for pinoys.
