Can I cut my speaker harness and connect it to the speaker wires?
I bought new car speakers to replace my old factory speakers and it came with 2 small speaker wires. On ebay, I bought a speaker harness to plug in to the factory harness on the car, but the darn thing does not fit (trying to get my money back on ebay). I don't want to spend anymore money to buy another speaker harness.
Can I just cut off the head of the factory harness and just crimp the wires to the small speaker wires that came with the speaker? Would that be ok?
That would work. But you can also buy conversion kits.
