I want to connect my telephone to my computer via the USB port. How do I build the modem to do this?
If you have an schematics or other reference material that would be much appreciated!
If you're talking about connecting your phone LINE to your computer, to use your computer as a super answering machine, I'd buy the hardware. Voice modems aren't that expensive. But through USB? You'd have to learn how to handle audio through USB. (It can be done - I have some USB speakers and mics - but I can't even give you an idea of where to start, except to say Google.)
